Mission and Values

Mission

The Celtic Freeport is committed to attracting investment and innovation in Wales by supporting existing industries and accelerating the transition to a green economy.  Through inclusive partnerships, we aim to empower local communities and build a resilient economic future for Wales.

Purpose

Our aim is to create a world-class industrial and innovation corridor that capitalises on Wales’ strengths in energy, engineering and manufacturing.

The Celtic Freeport is dedicated to industrial renewal, fostering green economic growth, advancing skills development and revitalising manufacturing in Wales.  We will help establish future industries that support a sustainable and just transition to a greener future, grounded in fair work, well-being and social partnership.

By connecting businesses, communities and governments, we seek to establish a thriving ecosystem that advances energy security, renewable energy and economic resilience, while creating skilled opportunities for both the current and future workforce.
