Celtic Freeport Launch Event

The UK and Welsh Governments will join Celtic Freeport partners – from social partners, educational organisations and regulators to energy companies, manufacturers and investors – at the official launch of Celtic Freeport at the Parkgate Hotel, Cardiff, on 12 March 2025.

This milestone event will bring together key partners, industry leaders and government representatives to celebrate this transformative initiative.

Celtic Freeport is set to drive economic growth, innovation and sustainability, unlocking new opportunities for South Wales through its vision to create a green investment and innovation corridor.

“Celtic Freeport will drive growth in trade, investment and the energy transition. This event will unite partners as we embark on delivering our 25-year vision,” commented Luciana Ciubotariu, CEO of the Celtic Freeport.
